"Indies in Motion," the acclaimed online radio program highlighting rising independent stars, and hosted by Rick Mizuno, will be conducting an interview with Kenny on Monday, October 22 to discuss his musical work on the award winning film Hew!

The broadcast can be heard live at GVB Radio at 1:00 pm on channel 1. If you can't catch it live, be sure to check it out at the Indies in Motion archive!

Hew is directed by Laurie Tsou, and was a nominee for the Golden Reel Award at the 2012 LAAPF Festival, and was an official selection at the 2012 Atlanta Film Festival.

Garden Gnome is Headed to Austin!

Hew to premier in LA May 12

Sudden Death! takes home its third Best Original Music Award

Last weekend, Sudden Death! screened at the St. Louis Filmmakers Showcase and managed to win five awards including Best Original Music. Kahle McCann, the songwriter and lyricist, shared the award with Kenny as the music writing team won its third music award for Sudden Death! Also taking home awards were Adam Hall (Best Director - short), Producers Melanie Hall and Nick Jones (Best Comedy Short), Doug Jones (Best Comedic Actor), and John Larroquette (Best Cameo). The 2010 Houston Comedy Film Festival chose Sudden Death! as the winner of Best Original Music and Best Director, Adam Hall, beating out all other films including the features. Sudden Death! also received nominations for Best Actor (Matt Lutz), Best Editing (Graham Fisher), Best Cinematography (Dave Selle), Best Ensemble Cast, and Best Short Film.

The 2010 Rhode Island International Film Festival presented Sudden Death! with the award of Best Original Music, beating out all other scores from the festival including those from the feature films. Kenny thanks all those who made it possible including performers Matt Lutz, Autumn Hurlbert, Beth Castle, Doug Jones, the Sudden Death! orchestra and the entire cast of singers. Additional thanks go out to vocal recording engineer Jerrold Launer of SonicArts and orchestra recording engineer/mixer Miles Rogers. Also a big thank you to Kelly and our families for their support. Big congrats go out to lyricist and songman Kahle McCann, as well as director Adam Hall and producers Melanie Hall, Nick Jones, and Chris Roberts.

Two in a row! Go for it! just received back-to-back Audience Awards, the most recent of which coming from the San Antonio Film Festival. Director Carmon Marron was on-hand to accept the award. Up next, the film will screen in New York at the International Latino Film Festival.

Go For It! made its World Premier Sunday at the Dances With Films festival, which took place at the Laemmle Sunset 5 in Hollywood. Attendees piled into the 250 seat auditorium after having patiently waited in a queue that wound its way through the entire building complex. It was the first screening that generated a sold-out crowd at this year's festival. The entire cast as well as members of the crew were in attendance at the event.

After more than a year of anticipation, “Oktapodi” was given the prestigious honor of an Oscar nomination. Directors Emud Mokhberi and Thierry Marchand will attend the awards ceremony on February 22 in Los Angeles. The film is a student production from the Gobelins visual arts school in Paris. The directors are Julien Bocabeille, Francois-Xavier Chanioux, Olivier Delabarre, Quentin Marmier, and of course the aforementioned Emud and Thierry. View the Oscar Nomination or Watch the film!
